Gravity: For If You Think 'Cast Away' was Devastating

Akhirnya! After almost a year watching it's trailer on Warner TV, we're watching Gravity (in 3D) at Blitzmegaplex. Yus, it was a movie date with husband. Squeezing a 90 minutes between visiting a relative who was hospitalized and taking stuff from a friend's gallery.

And it was the most devastating ninety frikkin' minutes of my life - in a good way. I mean imagine you are cluelessly (if there's such a word) flew around the space on your first mission with no communication and a chance of sudden space debris heading to you, trying to make your way home. Imagine Cast Away, but in outer space where oxygen is limited, and you barely recognize everything around you. How can it's not devastating?

This was their last day on space, and everything went smooth.

All in all, this is a good movie to watch with your friends, your loved ones, or even on your own (the third option is for weird people like I who enjoy watching movie alone). For some people with very technical way of thinking it might be a bit boring, but for people who love to seek the meaning behind a story line, Gravity is a must watch.

SPOILER ALERT. Tulisan di bawah ini tentang annoying couple sitting next to us dan agak nggak ada hubungannya sama jalan cerita film, but I just have to tell this. And I've tried my best not to spoil the story, but I just can't. Kalau belum nonton dan penasaran, mendingan baca bagian ini tar aja abis nonton, hehe..

So, there will always be those stupid people who's talking during the movie. Commenting on every frikkin scene, asking (or informing!) about something that is very obvious. At first I was worried about the ABGs on back row. But apparently, the real danger was the stupid couple with stupid girlfriend next to me. I shoosh her once for talking too much, but she just ignored that. I mean her comment was really stupid and loud! I think the whole theater could hear her.

When the astronauts trying to reach the International Space Station after the catastrophe:
We don't know yet. Don't we?!

On the 'fetus like' scene.
"Ih kaya bayi!"
Yes, we all can see that. Wa share the same big screen, aren't we?

When Stone trying to cut some rope to escape:
"Cepetan! Jangan liat-liat dulu!"
Thank you for the advice. But that won't help her to go faster. And that surely won't help us - the other audiences you share this theater with - to feel better.

When Stone accidentally bumped her head while trying to put fire off:
"Bego!"
LOE YANG BEGO!!!

When Kowalsky opens the door while Stone is not wearing her helmet:
"Itu kebakar ya mukanya? Kebakar ya?"
Well if so, this movie would end right there, no?!

And when I just thought it was only the girlfriend who's stupid, suddenly the boyfriend (which I almost advice him to find a smarter girlfriend) commenting on even louder voice.
"Hah kodok? Oh ini mah di danau! Danau Zurich udaaahhhh!"
*imagining pouring hot popcorn butter to him*

I start to think they were the same match-made-in-heaven-made-for-each-other-couple who sat next to us when we watched Argo sometimes ago. The girlfriend's comments is as stupid as the one when we see KFC on one of the scene.
"Ihhhh KFC!"
YES WE ALL CAN SEE!

There should be a service in every movie theater that allows us to know which seats are free from potentially annoying audience(s).
